all good things come to an end...

Greetings, our dear friends!

It’s been a while since we've connected….we miss you!

We’ve got a big announcement to share today...plus the February 14-day Winter Reset and the Overcoming Overwhelm Retreat and Workshop are officially open for registration today! Details below.

But first…

You may already know from a previous mailing that Angelle experienced great and sudden loss in the deaths of both her father-in-law and her brother within three weeks of each other last fall. She's taken these past 4 months not only to tend to the needs of her own family but also to have her mother move into her home so she could care for her every day through some really challenging stuff.

As Angelle’s business partner, I want to tell you that we have a fierce and beautiful leader in Angelle at The Nourish to Flourish Society.

Those of you who have been in our programs already know this. You’ve witnessed her calm and grounded leadership. Her depth of knowledge. Her compassion and care for the women in our community.

Angelle is true to character. In The NtF Society and also in her life.

Who you see is who she is.

Women will ask me, “You two look like you get along so well and have a good partnership.”

It’s true. We do.

Angelle reached out to me 4 years ago on January 1 to ask me if I wanted to partner together and create something.

Her invitation came at a perfect time.

I said “Let’s go for it!” and The Nourish to Flourish Society was born.

Angelle’s partnership had a way of pulling me out of my fear of being in front of people online. Sure, I had been speaking in groups for 2 decades about my eating disorder and teaching curriculum in group programs for over 10 years, but there was something complex and frankly, a bit frightening about the online world.

Angelle had been in the online world for awhile and walked patiently alongside me as I learned the online techy life.

Behind the scenes, we share copious amounts of tea, chocolate, and laughter across a video screen during our meetings, and our text exchanges are loaded with heart and laughter emoji’s and Amy Pohler gif's. This kind of friendship and partnership is a rare and beautiful gift.

We’ve walked one another through

...highs and lows

...celebrations and sadness

...calling out default patterns and encouraging one another into new empowered ones

...parenting and marriage challenges

...limited beliefs

...accountability to push send on a blog when the post felt too vulnerable

It’s amazing what can happen when you’re surrounded by the right people to help you move through your fear, the unknowns and everyday life challenges.

Living in community is transformational . . . which is why we have LOVED our NtF Community.

It has been a supportive place for women to gather and grow.

And if you’ve been in our community classes or participated in our private FB communities through our online programs, you may have had a similar experience to fellow Resetter, Heather:

"The Reset was life changing for me. The recipes were delicious. The support was phenomenal. The daily bites were spot on & applicable. It was an amazing experience overall."

We’ve had the distinct privilege of supporting 2000+ women through our Signature 14-day Reset and other online programs and we’ve loved how these programs have transformed women’s lives and the lives of their families.

Bottom line. We're so grateful for The Nourish to Flourish Society!

There’s a phrase out there that says “All good things must come to an end.”

Well . . . this is our announcement.

After spending the past few months reflecting, we've come to the clarity that The Nourish to Flourish Society is coming to an end.

As we think more deeply on the phrase, All Good Things Come To An End, we much prefer:

“All good things evolve.”

We’re always in the process of evolving.

You are. Angelle is. And I am.

These four years have been good and right and beautiful. For such a time as this.

It’s held the vision for what we hoped it would be and created a ripple effect across the globe. For women to reclaim a nourishing relationship with food, body, mindset and overall health and wholeness.

Angelle and I are grateful for this community and all the ways we've come together as women to support one another.

And as all good things evolve, we are both being called into expressing new parts ourselves in our work. It doesn't mean we're leaving you, it just means things are evolving. And over the next several months, you'll be hearing what is unfolding for each of us, and what that means for you.

But for now, we wanted to officially offer one more Reset together as our way of supporting you in this capacity one last time.

We’re hosting our last official Winter Reset on February 16.

So for all of you who have said to us, “I want to do this some day…” Some day is NOW.

And for those of you returning to the Reset, we'd love to support you in the Reset one last time!

“Before the Reset, I had been on more than a dozen diets/exercise plans. I tried everything, but was never able to make long-term changes to my eating habits, and that left me feeling frustrated, like I would never find the right solution to address my health concerns.  The NtF Reset helped me tune into my mind, body and emotional state in a way I had never done before. The support, insights and mindfulness component helped me find the answers within myself. I lost weight, broke some unhealthy habits and found a compassion and love for my body that I’ve never had before!  Truly a transformative experience. Thank you!
